Model SKR Ball Cage LM Guide Actuator
The SKR type LM guide actuator with ball cage technology is
a compact actuator that places a nut block incorporating a LM block and a ball
screw nut inside the LM rail with a U-shaped cross section.
Also, by adding the LM guide and ball screw
section with cage ball technology, the SKR type LM guide actuator can achieve
higher speed, lower noise, longer maintenance-free operation and other
functions compared to the conventional KR type.
SKR model features:
4-way equivalent load capacity:-
The rows of each ball are arranged at a 45 ° contact angle,
so that the load acting on the nut block in four directions (radius, reverse
radius, and two sides) represents the same nominal load. Therefore, the LM type
SKR guide actuator can be used in any position.
High rigidity:-
By adopting the LM rail with U-shaped cross section, the
rigidity against moment can be improved.
High accuracy:-
The linear motion guide raceways have 4 rows of circular
grooves that provide smooth movement with simple preload. There is no
authorization and you can get very strict guidance. Furthermore, high precision
transfer is possible by minimizing the change in frictional resistance due to
load fluctuations.
Retrench of space:-
By integrating the LM guide raceways on both sides of the
nut block and the ball screw nut in the center of the nut block, the SKR can
achieve high rigidity and high precision in minimal space.
Long service life and long maintenance-free operation:-
Thanks to the ball retainer effect, SKR has improved grease
retention, which can achieve long service life and long maintenance-free
operation. SKR has a longer service life because the basic dynamic load rating
of the LM Guide and Ball Screw is higher than that of the existing KR model
(three times the case of the KR3310). The nominal life can be calculated by the
following equation.
High speed:-
By using Caged Ball technology, the SKR
type is compatible with the latest high speed (6000 min -1) rotating AC
servo motor to achieve faster speed than the conventional KR type. The
conventional KR33 type ball screw pitch settings were 6mm and 10mm. A 20mm ball
screw has been added to the new SKR 33 series to achieve higher feed rates.
Excellent gliding ability:-
Ball-in-cage technology also helps the SKR type
significantly improve its torque characteristics by eliminating ball-to-ball
friction. Provides excellent slip function by minimizing torque fluctuation
Little noise:-
Ball cage technology can be used in LM guide and ball screw
to eliminate noise caused by ball collision. This enables the SKR type to
achieve low noise emission and satisfactory sound quality.
